Working Groups

The Extreme Energy Extraction Collaborative doesn't have a traditional coalition structure.  Substantive decisions about our Summits are made through a consensus process within the Summit Planning Group.  The Collaborative is focused on providing a space for dialogue and collective learning between as many working organizers as possible, not on forming a new organizational structure.  Summit Planning Group is composed of organizers from organizations that participate in E3C.  Summit Planning Group is always open to new members, so contact us if you want to get involved.  The Planning Group is supported by a small central staff composed mainly of our founders that is responsible for fundraising, maintaining infrastructure, and questions of organizational development.

Participating Organizations: Catskill Mountainkeeper, Coalition to Stop Pilgrim Pipeline,  East Michigan Environmental Action Council, Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives, the FANG Collective, Another Gulf is Possible,  Center for Coalfield Justice, Texas Environmental Justice Advocacy Services, Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, Center for Sustainable Economy, Shalefield Organizing Committee, Southern Illinoisans Against Fracturing our Environment, Manitoba Energy Justice Action Coalition, STAND, Natural Resources Defense Council, and Food and Water Watch.

The Extreme Energy Extraction Collaborative is fiscally sponsored by Catskill Mountainkeeper.
